Whew.

I have not posted on my blog in months.  I miss it.  I miss writing. 

I am not currently teaching any classes.  Christmas break.  This is giving me time to catch up, and time to start blogging again. 

It’s been a wild year for me.  In February, Google shut my email down.  No explanation. 

The only advertising/marketing I do for this site is the weekly “Tip of the Week”.  Suddenly, I couldn’t send out a tip each Saturday.  It took months for me to figure out how to get back.  By the time I returned, I had lost quite a few subscribers and almost half of my income. 

Sigh.  Google giveth.  Google taketh away. 

These days I avoid Google.  Other than translate, I do not use their systems.  Happy to see Google in my rearview mirror. 

Anyway, that took a lot of time and energy.  Then, in a stroke of shining brilliance, I decided to open a Lego store (Bricks and MiniFigs Vestavia Hills) in Birmingham, Alabama.  To date, I have not made a dime.  I do, however, own a lot of tiny plastic yellow people.  

So, there’s that.  All to say, it’s been a busy year.  In the middle of it all, I stopped blogging.  But, I miss it.  So, I am back!  At least, I am attempting to be back!
