Bricks and MiniFigs Vestavia Hills

While we have a website for the store, it has proved highly problematic.  For this reason, I built this page on my own personal website.  

My name is Dwane Thomas, and I am the owner of Bricks and MiniFigs Vestavia Hills.  This website, dwanethomas.com has been online since 2014.  On this site, I teach Latin, Greek, German, and French.   

I also publicly learn Spanish over at Compass Classroom.  Your are more than welcome to join me if you are interested in languages, but, I suspect you are here to learn more about LEGO.

How it all started…

In late 2023, during the Christmas season, my family came to visit. 

My nephew and I were talking.  He had just left a job he was not enjoying.  Curious, I asked him, “What’s next?” 

Jokingly, he replied, “Well, Uncle Dwane, if you open a Bricks and Minifigs, I’ll run it for you.” 

I had no idea what he was talking about. 

“What in the world is a Bricks and Minifigs?” I asked.  We laughed and the conversation moved on. 

After my family left, I went online, did some research, and started looking into franchise opportunities with Bricks and Minifigs. 

Long story short, less than a year later, on November 2, 2024, we opened Birmingham’s first (and currently only) Bricks and Minifigs, Bricks and Minifigs Vestavia Hills! 

Stop by and say “Salve!”  I am often there on Saturdays.
