I don’t remember how and when I discovered the blog, “The Simple Dollar”. But, It doesn’t matter. I’ve been reading it (and enjoying it) for a while now.
This article resonated with me. It’s pretty much my story. Small apartment. Growing family. Stagnant income. Small income. Desperation. Resolution. Solution.
In three days, my family and I are leaving Franklin, Tennessee for Europe and Asia. Would have not been possible if my wife and I had listened to the standard American advice. Get a big house, nice car, plenty of gadgets, and spend lots of time at restaurants.
