I didn’t send a tip of the week last Saturday because… reasons.

After four months away, my family and I are home now.  I went to see if I could teach online from overseas.  The experiment worked.

Before leaving I was warned by many.

Don’t do it.
It’s too dangerous.
Don’t take your family over there.
It’s too dangerous.
What are you thinking?

Well, we did it.  We took some risks.  None of my worst fears materialized.  None of the fears of my friends materialized.

My kids like this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8j741TUIET0

There is a line in the song that I like.

“Go forth and have no fear.”

That is my tip for you this week.  Go forth and have no fear.

Before we left, I sat down and wrote out the worst case scenarios.  Would it be worth it?  What if my worst fears came true?  Would I still attempt it anyway?

In the end, we decided to go for it.  I am glad we did.  We made some mistakes.  We lost some money.  But, we also had some wins.  And, since Greece is cheap, we saved some money.

Are you facing a major decision?  Are you afraid?  Are people telling you that you are crazy?

Count the cost.  It may be worth it.  It may be time to pull the trigger.

Go forth and have no fear.

Have a happy Saturday!
