My friend, Jeremiah, who helps many of you with issues on my site (and who runs his own site: https://studentpatterns.com/49/ad2) sent this message to one of you this week (I have edited the message to remove personal information):

Anyway, I had forgotten about this helpful tip and thought you might find it useful:

“On Dwane’s site, the kids have to have unique email addresses (other than yours) for the sub-accounts. However, I see you have a Gmail address.

If you don’t want to get them their own email addresses, Gmail allows you to add a plus sign to your email address, and all email to that address will still come to your inbox.

For example, if your name was hikingfan@gmail.com, you could send mail to hikingfan+friends@gmail.com.

This will make it where the site will recognize a “unique” email address for the sub-account, but you really won’t be creating any more email addresses for you to manage in Gmail.”
