Sometimes, I really want to sleep in.  Usually, I don’t.  When I do, I regret it.

When my alarm goes off, I have trained myself to think of this quote by C.S. Lewis.

“If we let ourselves, we shall always be waiting for some distraction or other to end before we can really get down to our work. The only people who achieve much are those who want knowledge so badly that they seek it while the conditions are still unfavorable. Favorable conditions never come.”

We have one life to live.  Our lives are an hourglass glued to the table.  Don’t squander your life.  Don’t allow the distractions keep you from what you were put on earth to do.

Most, of all, do not wait for favorable conditions.  You will wait a long time.
