I woke up super early this morning, and just couldn’t go back to sleep.  I am sure you know what that’s like.

Naturally, I spent some time binge watching archaeology videos on YouTube.  It’s what we all do when we can’t sleep.

I want to share with you my new favorite archaeology channel.  Check out Expedition Bible.  The channel is here: https://www.youtube.com/c/ExpeditionBible/featured

Joel Kramer is a friend of mine, but that’s not the only reason I am sharing his channel.  He’s also an archaeologist.  If you are interested in Biblical archaeology at all, you will want to check out Expedition Bible.

(Side note.  I am a little jealous.  I wanted to be an archaeologist when I grew up.  And, also a fighter pilot.  Sooo… I became a Latin teacher.)

Back to Joel.  He, and his family lived in Jerusalem for a decade before moving to Jordan.  While living in the Middle East, he has continuously studied archaeology.  He also leads tours.  I find his take on Biblical archaeology fascinating.

He is also the author of several books.  Where God Came Down is his book on Biblical sites.   Beyond Fear is a story of his harrowing journey across New Guinea.  Don’t read that one as you are falling asleep.
