Tip of the Week #368: How to Find Clean Restrooms in a New City
I once heard something along the lines of, “Travel lets you escape your boring, mundane life and visit other places where it’s hard to find a toilet.” I have to admit… it’s true.
So here’s a travel trick I’ve used many times:
Skip the hunt for public restrooms and head to a nearby hotel. Most hotel lobbies have restrooms that are easy to access, well maintained, and far cleaner than what you’ll find in many public places.
If there’s a line in the lobby, try the hotel’s conference or meeting floor. When no event is taking place, those restrooms are often among the cleanest, quietest, and least crowded in the building.
