Many of you know that I was born and raised in Europe.  My family moved back to the U.S. when I was 18.

For years, I wanted to go back to Europe.  By 19, or 20, I was planning my return.

Last year, after a wait of 26 years, I returned.

There are many, many reasons it took 26 years.  The price of flights to Europe was one of the main barriers.  $1,200 – $1,500 is a lot of money.

Living in Europe is rather cheap.  It costs almost $70 to feed my family of 7 in a restaurant here in the U.S.  Last year, in Greece, it cost $20 to feed my family of 7 in a restaurant.

Living in Europe can be cheap.  Getting to Europe can be ridiculously expensive.  Until now.

Recently, Wow Air began offering cheap flights to Europe.  $99 to Iceland.  $149 to Amsterdam.  And on and on.  I’ve been waiting a long time for an airline to do this.  Maybe you have, too.
