How many hours a day will my son need to spend to get Latin I and possibly Latin II done this summer before high school entrance?
Here is my reply:
If you are using Visual Latin, here is what I recommend. At 60 lessons, your son could finish Latin 1 and 2 by September 1 just by completing one lesson a day. In the beginning, the lessons are easy. By lesson 15, they are going to get challenging.
I recommend racing through the first five lessons, or so, in a few days. That will buy you some time. One lesson a day for the rest of the summer should take about a half-hour a day. It could take an hour a day as you move deeper into the course.
