The mother of a student contacted me with this question:

Hi,

 

I just gave my son quiz 10 and he chose option a – multi herbi, but the answer key shows the correct answer to be c – multae herbae. He doesn’t understand why it would be in the genitive case, and I can’t explain it. We’ve rewatched the video and it’s still not making sense. Is there an easy way for me to explain it to him?
