Well. Things sure are weird right now. But, you already knew that.
I hope you all are well out there. For the moment, my family and I are okay. No one is sick. Like you, we are working hard to stay that way.
I suppose if you are bored, now is a good time to learn Latin. Heh.
Anyway, I just wanted to post a few things.
We are wrapping up the school year on my site. Officially, classes will end on April 21.
Unofficially, I will keep right on teaching until my allergies stop me. Usually happens around the end of April.
In First Year Latin by Robert Henle we studied chapter 37 today. Chapters 38 and 39 next week. Chapter 40 the week after that, and chapters 41-42 on April 21.
In Second Year Latin by Robert Henle, we continue to read through the infernally slow section “All Gaul in Arms”. We are not going to finish it. I will likely move it to the mornings after April 21.
Lingua Latina is cancelled this week. Very sorry about that. I will be in Atlanta for an appointment made long ago… and, then forgotten about. By me. Anyway, back next week.
Same for Lingua Latina. If we don’t finish by April 21st (we won’t), I will move this class to the mornings until my allergies take me down.
French and Spanish will just keep plugging along… until my allergies take me down.
Also, if you don’t like learning Latin online, Visual Latin is on sale this week over at Compass Classroom.
Stay well, my friends.
