I received this question:

Hello! We have been following along with your Henle 2 class and are so grateful for you help!

I would like my son to add Spanish this year but I am quite uncertain which curriculum he should use, especially since we want to continue with Latin.

Could you please tell me why you chose Poco a Poco for Spanish? There are so many frustrating typos!  I do appreciate that it seems to be succinct and focused, but for a student brand new to Spanish, the typos may be a huge distraction.

Do you find this to be a beneficial curriculum choice for adding Spanish to a high school work load?

Thank you for your time and thoughts,

Here is my reply:

Hi!

I only went with Poco a Poco because Hans Ørberg, the author of the fabulous Lingua Latina recommended it.

I totally agree with you about the typos, and am now looking for something else.  No luck yet.

Although, I am currently enjoying Living Language Conversational Spanish and Easy Spanish Reader by William Tardy.

I am desperately looking for something in Spanish like Lingua Latina by Hans Ørberg.  I am beginning to think I am going to have to write it myself.

Let me know if you find anything!
