Here’s this week’s tip:

Give yourself plenty of time.

Next week, in America, we will be celebrating Thanksgiving.  

If you are driving to a relative’s house, and you are supposed to be there by 1, simply plan to arrive twenty minutes early.  

Mentally, this will prepare you to leave much earlier.

Plus, this will give you some extra time for the unexpected.  Slow traffic, rainy conditions, a family of ducks crossing the road…. whatever.  There is always something.  

We were on our way to a family gathering once and were delayed because during the night, a family of beavers had built a dam over the road.  

Okay.  That’s not true.  But, I did once see a beaver in the wild.
