Why am I Being Charged During the Summer?

When you join, my site will charge you $25 per month. 

Naturally, this means you will be charged during June, July, and August.  I do not always teach live classes during those months (though I often do). 

During the summer months, you will still have access to the classes on my site, the tests, the forums, etc.   

When you break it down, everyone charges during the summer.   Most other providers simply charge it all up front. 

I have done the research for you.  Most online Latin providers are going to charge you quite a bit more.  Also, pay close attention to how long the process takes. 

Using Visual Latin, you could learn Latin in two years.  Using Lingua Latina, you could learn Latin in two years.   

Most programs stretch the process out over three to seven years and most charge from $600 to $800 per year, per student. 

Because my site charges monthly, you may feel you are paying during the summer for something you are not using. 

Look at the costs of other programs.  You are paying for those programs through the summer, too.  You are simply paying up front.

And, one last thing.  Many of my students end up falling in love with the classes.  They stick around for three, or more years.  But, instead of charging, payments on my site stop automatically after three years. 

If you stick around for three years, the payments end.  You, and your family will have a lifetime subscription. 

So, yes.  You are getting charged during the summer.  But, you may decide it’s worth it.
